Our inspection process covers the outdoor condenser (coil condition, fan motor, capacitor microfarads, contactor wear, refrigerant pressures, electrical disconnect), the indoor unit (blower motor amp draw, evaporator coil condition, condensate drain, secondary pan), the ductwork (visible leaks, insulation, sizing, supply/return balance), the thermostat (calibration, wiring), and the safety devices (high-limit switches, float switches, gas valve operation if applicable).
We also measure system performance — supply/return temperature split, static pressure, refrigerant superheat and subcool — to tell you whether the system is operating to spec, not just whether it turns on.
