Emergency HVAC Service
When your AC dies in July, hours matter. We answer.
Call Now: (602) 799-5557An HVAC emergency in Phoenix isn't an inconvenience — it's a safety issue. When indoor temperatures climb past 95°F, the elderly, infants, and pets are at real risk within hours. That's why our emergency service line is staffed and our trucks are stocked to handle the most common no-cool failures the same call.
Fast Track Heating and Cooling provides emergency HVAC service across the entire Phoenix Metro, day and night, for residential and light-commercial properties. We don't charge overtime or 'emergency' surcharges — the price is the price.
What's Included
What counts as an HVAC emergency
If you're without cooling on a 100°+ day, that's an emergency. If your system is leaking water through a ceiling, that's an emergency. If you smell gas near a furnace, that's an emergency — leave the home and call us from outside (and call SRP/APS if the smell is strong). If your breaker keeps tripping when the AC tries to start, that's an emergency too: a hard-starting compressor can fail completely if it keeps cycling on a fault.
What's not an emergency: a slow cooling drop you've noticed over a week, a thermostat that's hard to program, or weak airflow in one room. Those are next-day or next-week service items.
Common after-hours failures we fix on the first visit
The most common reasons we get called at 9 PM are blown capacitors (a $150–$300 part swap), failed contactors, tripped float switches due to clogged condensate drains, frozen evaporator coils from low refrigerant or dirty filters, and bad fan motors. Our trucks carry the parts to fix all of these on the first visit.
Compressor failures, leaking coils, and burned-out blower motors that need ordering are the exception — but even then we can usually get the system limping for the night and return with the part the next day.
What to do while you wait
Turn the thermostat all the way up so the system stops trying to cycle. Pull blackout curtains or blinds across south- and west-facing windows. Run ceiling fans (they cool people, not rooms — only useful when occupied). Get vulnerable family members to a cool room or a neighbor's house. If the unit is iced over, switch it to FAN ON for an hour to thaw before the technician arrives.

Serving the Entire Phoenix Metro
Heat-related illness sends hundreds of Phoenix-area residents to the ER every summer. An AC failure in July or August is genuinely dangerous, and we treat it that way. Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and central Phoenix calls usually get a same-hour response. Outlying areas — Queen Creek, Apache Junction, far west Glendale, Surprise — are typically same-day.
From dense Phoenix neighborhoods to spread-out Queen Creek acreage, our trucks run the entire Valley every day. We know which subdivisions have undersized return ducts, which Mesa zip codes still have R-22 systems hanging on, and which Scottsdale custom builds were finished with two-stage equipment that needs specialized parts.
Cities we regularly serve include Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Ahwatukee, plus surrounding East Valley and West Valley communities. If you're inside the 101, 202, or 303 loop, we can usually be at your door the same day you call.
